People on the left AND right agree: we want to make up our own minds, not be manipulated by algorithms, deepfakes, and AI slop!
It’s getting hard to tell what’s real and what’s fake. And the fact that we aren’t in control means that we are at the whims of unhinged tech billionaires and their dangerous algorithms.
Social media used to be a place to connect with family and friends – now it’s turned into Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg’s dream – hoovering up our user data and then weaponizing it against us, filling our minds with FAKE people selling FAKE miracle cures and news articles that weren’t even written by humans.
Why are we letting a handful of out-of-touch billionaires control pretty much everything we consume?
This isn’t a right vs. left issue. This is something people across the political spectrum care about. So if we’re ALL concerned - it’s time lawmakers start paying attention.
